Sales Representative
TradeTec’s Sales and Marketing Department has a position open. We are seeking a Sales Rep to assume responsibilities for the following:
- Develop and maintain market presence working within corporate marketing initiatives within defined geographic markets
- Develop leads and opportunities within those markets
- Conduct sales interviews with prospective clients introducing our solutions to their needs.
- Tour the facilities of prospective clients to fully understand their needs and how our applications can meet and exceed their requirements.
- Demonstrate the Return-On-Investment of our solutions within a clients application
- Develop and present plans to implement solutions and ensure ultimate success.
The following skills will be key attributes for the successful individual:
- Confident communication skills
- Forest Industry knowledge and experience
- Accounting background and/or understanding is an asset
- Self starting and initiative
- Amicable inter-personal skills
- Above-average computer knowledge and skills
- Individual must have a Passport and Drivers License
This unique position will allow the successful candidate, upon proving their capabilities to be granted a significant control over the direction and continued progression of the product lines they represent to ensure their customers’ needs are met.
This position joins an established sales and marketing team and is expected to work within that structure while not hesitating to add and contribute to it. The candidate will be afforded a flexible schedule provided they demonstrate initiative and commitment.
This base-plus position includes a compensation package that is intended to reward this person very well, for their expertise, commitment and effort contributed.
Travel is expected to average 1-2 work-weeks per month. This position may be based in our corporate offices in Canada or the U.S. and/or the right candidate could certainly work out of their home office anywhere in the world.
Interaction with our software development team is necessary to ensure the products being built are properly presented / marketed to our market place and that our company and our products are reflected and accepted in the best possible way.
