TallyWorks™ Logs provides hundreds of detailed, customizable reports, which are also exportable to Microsoft Excel. You can utilize the built-in Data Mining Wizard to mine the database for key information throughout the production process for data on importing, sales, inventory, stumpage, waste accruals, and more.
It provides seamless connectivity to completely automate the transfer of information, saving you valuable time and eliminating expensive data re-keying errors.
This product payed for itself within 3 months. Before TallyWorks we received data (paper settlements) twice a month which was three weeks by the time we received it. As many of our jobs are less than 6 weeks in length, issues regarding log quality and production and were not known in many cases until the project was complete. We now receive data (depending on the bureau) the day after the first load is trucked. We have used the data to address quality issues, forecast job completion dates, reconcile to cruise estimates and speed the settlement reconciliation process. Changes we have requested to the system have been fairly priced and accurately quoted upfront.
